Thank You, Kurt Vonnegut

Kurt Vonnegut has left us all behind after 84 years of shufflin' around in this mortal coil.
The link to the BBC obituary gives us 3 wonderful quotes as remembrances, among the many gems cast before us, swine though we be.

"Science fiction writers are the only ones who care about the future"

"I'm suing a cigarette company because on the package they promised to kill me, and yet here I am."

(Vonnegut came) out of semi-retirement to write the short story collection A Man Without a Country in 2006, saying that he had "drawn energy from my contempt for our president".
